Arpen – Telephone Business Development Manager

First had contact with Joe back in Feb 2018 after being made redundant from my last job, a bit uncertain on what I wanted to do next Joe was a great listener and offered me a few options while pursuing my search and put me forward for a couple of jobs. I subsequently took on a short term contract which I sourced myself that I didn’t renew and found myself in the same position again in Sept 2018.

Reluctant to get back in touch with previous recruitment consultants I uploaded my CV to a few job sites and applied for a few jobs. Joe must have found my CV updated again and called me to see what I was doing now. I was surprised he remembered me and remember him saying ‘let me get you a job your going to enjoy this time’ he asked me what I would like to do and showed genuine interest in my career ambitions, he didn’t pigeon hole me into a role that my career history would put me into, this time I wanted to change role but stay in the same industry.

He has helped me secure a role with a company that I have wanted to work for in the past, and throughout the process he has been responsive, supportive and a great listener, I also had contact with other staff at Stellar Select which I found friendly and helpful always.

Really impressed overall, although not looking to move jobs in the short/long term if something changes Joe and Stellar Select will be top of my list to contact If i find myself in the same position again
