£25000.00 - £30000.00 per annum + benefits, bonus | Cardiff

Job Title: Collections Team Leader

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £30,000 and discretionary annual bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (will be required to be flexible)

About the role of Collections Team Leader

The Collections department is responsible for helping customers who may find themselves in arrears or facing difficulty with their finance agreement. The department has a huge impact on the success of the business, and they are looking for individuals who can make a difference.
You will lead, coach and inspire the agents whom you are responsible for. If you have experience in leading a team in a contact centre environment, have collections team management experience and understand the importance of treating customers fairly, we wold love to hear from you.

Responsibilities and experience required for the role of Collections Team Leader

  • Lead the collections team on a daily basis to achieve results
  • Ensure the team deliver exceptional service and ensuring the culture of treating customers fairly is embedded within the collections department and is compliant with FCA regulations
  • Delegate and oversee work undertaken ensuring the collection activity is effective and admin tasks are completed
  • Coaching and develop your team
  • Deputise for the Collections Operations Manager during period of absence

Experience required for the role of Collections Team Leader

  • Collections Team leader experience in an FCA regulated environment or similar experience of leading a team in a busy call centre
  • People management and people development skills
  • Results driven with good problem-solving skills
