Job Title: Loan Administrator

Location: Rotherham

Salary: Up to £24,000 with an OTE of £27,000 (monthly bonuses of circa £150)

Hours: 37.5 hour week Monday 9 am to 6 pm, Tuesday to Thursday 9 am to 5.30 pm, Friday 9 am to 5 pm

About the Loan Administrator:

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, ensuring smooth operations and a high standard of service. General administrative tasks include strict deadlines, liaising with mortgage companies, booking valuations, and coordinating with surveyors. The role also involves supporting advisors, team leaders, head of loans and contributing to the overall efficiency of the team. A key focus is delivering accurate work with strong attention to detail and a proactive, supportive approach.

Responsibilities of Loan Administrator:

• Book valuations and liaise with surveyors
• Liaise with mortgage companies to progress applications and resolve queries
• Prepare and complete monthly reports on behalf of the line manager
• Carry out general administrative duties to support the team
• Manage document handling, including copying and scanning
• Handle incoming and outgoing Royal Mail correspondence efficiently

Experience required for Loan Administrator:

• Attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work with high volumes of work
• Great IT, computer and data input skills
