Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Oxford

Salary: up to £25,000 plus monthly sales bonus

Working Hours: Weekly alternative shifts of 9am – 5pm/12pm – 8pm and 1/4 Saturdays per month working 10am – 6pm

About the role

We have an excellent new opportunity for a Sales Executive to join a rapidly expanding Motor Finance Lender based in Oxfordshire. You will be the voice of the company to its Dealers by owning queries through to resolution, originating via inbound calls or emails from the companies’ Dealers or the internal functional teams.

Responsibilities and Experience required for the role of Sales Executive

  • Optimise conversion of the workflow of proposals from Underwriting to Offer Approved to Pay Out through direct support of field teams and Dealers
  • Office based telephone support to all company Dealers
  • Handling inbound telephone and email queries from Dealers and internal teams
  • Responsible for Dealers’ education on how to optimise their relationship with the company by submitting the correct details at proposal stage
  • Ensuring that dealers can selfserve through our portal when they have understood the company’s ways of working and process
  • Understand and implement levers that can be used to manipulate a proposal to move it through to offer/payout stage
  • Impact on the company Budget delivery by optimising how many Proposals convert through the internal business process flow of Underwriting – Offer Approved – Pay Out by working with (chasing) other internal team functions (e.g. Underwriting and Pay Outs)
  • Provide transparency to other departments and dealers by updating Salesforce with records of all appropriate Dealer contact and transactions
  • Produce and issue weekly / monthly communications to Dealers
  • Issue daily remittance advice to Dealers regarding their earned commission from company deals
  • Collate information for weekly internal meetings and updates
  • Maintaining a knowledge and understanding of commercial, legal and regulatory implications to a finance company and act appropriately in helping dealers to treat customers fairly at all times.
  • Pro-actively assist dealers in their interaction with customers to get all the required details from the customer – where the dealer is happy for us to do so.
  • To understand case management queues and work them effectively to positively affect the % of props funded daily weekly and monthly number
  • Telesales experience is essential
  • Experience working within Financial Services/Auto trade is desirable
